Rachel Mackay is an independent designer based in Sydney who works with spatial environments, installations and visual content across film, architecture and the arts.
Rachel works across film, art and architecture, occupying the world of visual storytelling. She articulates narratives through an exploration of scenic, stylistic and experiential concepts.
A founding member of Sydney-based collective Studio Rain, she is also part of a team who work collaboratively at the intersection of art and architecture. The collective initiates, designs and builds architectural projects that encourage more profound connections with the self, with others and with nature.
Rachel's six years working at Danish architecture and design studio Johannes Torpe Studios in Copenhagen spurred her passion for unconventional, narrative-driven environments.
